Erased the 2nd TouchPad and logged into the 2nd TouchPad using the same profile as the 1st TouchPad, and restored using the Palm Backup I had just made. Did a Palm Backup of the 1st TouchPad.Restarted the TouchPad before trying to run Robotek and was still starting from the very beginning. Restored the backups and restarted Robotek, but I was back to a fresh start, so I exited and restored again. Deleted Robotek from this 2nd TouchPad, redownloaded it, then played it briefly, getting through one battle, and then exited. This resulted in the game starting up and terminating itself a little after it got to the main screen. Transferred the save/restore files to a 2nd TouchPad running a different profile, downloaded a fresh copy of Robotek, restored the backups before even running Robotek once. The backups went fine, saving the "save0" and "save4" files. I am too fearful of losing my progress! :-)Okay, so it sort of worked for me. If someone can test this out, that would be great. If anyone wants to test you, you just need to put the script into /var/svc/ and make sure that the file has executable permissions (either by using Internals Pro or Gemeini to change linux permissions, or by using the command line code "chmod ugo+x ") For any paid applications, the "standard rate" is to offer 2x the value of the App. NOTE 2: Don't see an app supported in Save/Restore? Request them here! Remember the bounty system that is referenced on the first post. Please be sure to add the "-all" testing feed and the feed the relates to your device (pre/pixi/emulator) NOTE 1: Anyone interested in getting access to the testing feed, follow the instructions here. Please let us know if you find any issues with any of the scripts that have been loaded in. Not sure what that means for things like in-app purchase if you swap devices See the great research done on the next post that shows that you can only restore your data to the same device. NOTE - it appears as if the Robotek HD script is device-specific. Applications: FlightView, Gowalla, Open Table, Robotek HD, Slice It HD, Spare Time, Wall Switch (all courtesy of Audemars02) Applications: Need For Speed Hot Pursuit (TouchPad) (courtesy of A.Stice) Applications: intervalGym, Jamwam Jog, Power Nap, ZenSearch (all courtesy of irateb) This should represent all scripts posted in the thread. Just loaded an update to Save/Restore for 12 more scripts to the testing feeds.
